A) Architecture: Students interested to take admission in the Bachelor of Architecture program must have i. GPA of 7.00 in SSC & HSC/Equivalent (minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC), ii. for o-level and A-level candidates, please see the “General requirements for O-Level and A-level candidates” given below, iii. CGPA 6.50 in SSC & Diploma (with minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and CGPA 3.00 in Diploma), and also must have science background and skills in freehand drawing. Diploma students can apply for their respective department only (i.e a diploma student of Architecture can apply only in Bachelor of Architecture program)

B) Engineering:

• a. For B.Sc. in Civil Engineering program, i. must have a total GPA of 7.50 in SSC & HSC/Equivalent (minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC/Equivalent), ii. for O-level and A-level candidates, please see the “General requirements for O-Level and A-level candidates” given below, iii. CGPA of 7.00 in SSC and Diploma (with minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and CGPA 3.00 in Diploma)
• b. For B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering program, i. must have a total GPA of 7.00 in SSC & HSC/Equivalent (minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC/Equivalent), ii. for O-level and A-level candidates, please see the “General requirements for O-Level and A-level candidates” given below, iii. CGPA of 7.00 in SSC and Diploma (with minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and CGPA 3.00 in Diploma)
• c. For B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program, i. must have a total GPA of 7.00 in SSC & HSC/Equivalent (minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC/Equivalent), ii. for O-level and A-level candidates, please see the “General requirements for O-Level and A-level candidates” given below, iii. CGPA of 6.50 in SSC and Diploma (with minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and CGPA 3.00 in Diploma)
• Note: An applicant must have Physics and Mathematics in HSC/Equivalent and Chemistry either in SSC or HSC/Equivalent. A Diploma student can apply only for their respective department (i.e a diploma student of CE can apply only in the CE department).
• For Diploma Candidates, a student must have science in SSC.

C) B. Pharmacy (Eligibility): Students interested to take admission in the Bachelor of Pharmacy program must have GPA of 8.00 in SSC/O-Level/Equivalent and HSC/A-Level/Equivalent (minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC/O-Level/Equivalent and HSC/A-Level/Equivalent). A candidate who has passed School and Higher School from the foreign institutions, must collect the equivalent certificate from the Pharmacy Council, Bangladesh before taking admission.

• SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent:
  a. A student must pass SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent with the following science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
  b. SSC and HSC passed students must have a minimum grade point of 4.00 in Chemistry and Biology, and a minimum grade point of 3.50 in Physics and Mathematics (in a scale of 5).
• O and A level:
  a. O-level and A-level candidates must have a grade of B on chemistry and Biology, and a grade of C in Mathematics and Physics.

D) BBA, B.A. (Hons.) in English and LLB (Hons.): Students interested to take admission in BBA,English & LLB i. must have GPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC/Equivalent, ii. for O-level and A-level candidates, please see the “General requirements for O-Level and A-level candidates” given below. Minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC/Equivalent. Student's from any discipline can apply.

General requirements for O-Level and A-level candidates: A candidate must pass O-Level in at least five subjects and A-Level in two subjects. Only the best five subjects in O-Level and best two subjects in A-Level will be considered. Out of these seven subjects, a candidate must have at least 4B’s or GPA of 4.0 in the four subjects and 3C’s or GPA of 3.5 in the remaining three subjects, in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3.5, D=3, E=2. However, a candidate must fulfill the requirement for applying in the respective departments.
